John Houck has been devoted to the love and evolution of disc sports for 30 years, and was inducted to the Disc Golf Hall of Fame in 1998. John’s early career in disc sports included back-to-back World Championships in Freestyle in 1984 and 1985. John founded the Circular Skies Over Texas Tour, the National Doubles Championships, and the World’s Biggest Disc Golf Weekend. He was Commissioner of the Professional Disc Golf Association from 1994 to 1996, and has been President of the Disc Golf Foundation since 1998. John is the Head of Course Design for the International Disc Golf Center, and has designed or consulted on course designs for numerous world and national tournaments, with over 100 course designs and consultations spanning his career, more than any other active designer. John is currently the President of Millennium Golf Discs, his custom brand of premium golf discs designed for accuracy and course management.
